Garagely

Free motorcycle sag calculator

Set your suspension sag the right way. Enter a few measurements and your weight in riding gear, and this free calculator works out your static sag and rider (race) sag - in millimetres and as a percentage of travel - then compares them to the recommended band for your discipline. It runs the same suspension rules engine as the Garagely app, and nothing you enter is stored.

Sag is how far your suspension settles under weight. Static (free) sag is the bike under its own weight; rider sag is with you on board in full gear. You measure each end fully extended, then settled, and the difference is the sag. The calculator also estimates whether your stock spring rate suits your weight, because no amount of clicker adjustment fixes a spring that is too soft or too stiff.

The calculator is not available in this build (no API configured). Try the live site.
